Tasting notes & awards
through the eyes of the tasters
What freshness and fruit expression in the bouquet of Lamothe-Bergeron! Notes of dark berries, liquorice and chocolate are complemented by subtle iris nuances. On the palate, the wine combines breadth and freshness. Its tannic structure provides both power and persistence. The incisive acidity brings character and freshness. A beautiful success that reminds me of some outstanding Lamothe-Bergeron vintages. Congratulations to the entire team! Drink 2030–2050. 2030-2050

93 / 100
Another winery that has been on a steep upward trajectory for several years: floral nose, orange blossoms over dark berry fruit, subtle roasted notes, showing depth and complexity; slightly creamy attack, rich yet crisp fruit, very well structured, excellent tannins, perfectly dosed acidity, with the wood remaining nobly in the background; long-lasting, focused, fresh and with great elegance on the finish. For around 15 Swiss Francs, this is a must-buy! (Drink from 2030 to 2050).

92-94 / 100
A well-rounded, flavorful, and lively red with a medium body, chewy tannins, and bright acidity. Agile and succulent with juicy fruit at the finish.
James Suckling
Even before swirling, the freshness of sour cherry, red plum, and bayberry emerges naturally, pure and precise. A floral note of iris adds a touch of fine and gentle sweet character to the whole. As it opens, touches of hay and clove unfold, adding quiet intricacy to the aromatic picture. Guided by gentle extraction, the tannins, though ample and full of energy, remain in harmony, allowing the wine to hold its balance.
Alexandre Ma
The nose is fruity, rich and delicate at the same time, with complexity and depth. It offers notes of boysenberry, bright small red berries and fleshy bigarreau cherry, combined with touches of toast, toasted almond, a delicate hint of crunchy small red fruits, floral notes and chocolate. The palate is fruity, mineral, precise, supple, silky and well-defined, with lovely finesse of grain and texture. In the mouth it expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright violet plum and more lightly roasted/juicy cherry, combined with touches of lilac, nutmeg, liquorice stick as well as a floral hint and a very discreet sappy hint in the background. Tannins are precise, saline/iodine and well-built. Roundness and gourmandise. Lovely energy and acidulous character on the finish/persistence
Vert de Vin
Blackcurrant aromas lead the nose before evolving towards chocolate and mint. The attack is lively and energetic. Fresh red and black fruits dominate throughout the palate. A successful wine.
